After 10 years, Microsoft halts IM services to Iran

Residents pass one of the entrances to the Microsoft Corporation campus in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft has abruptly canceled instant messaging services to five countries.

Software giant Microsoft has barred Windows Live Messenger users in five countries, including Iran, from using instant messaging services.
